Message from Sister Clarisse Juario

“During the summer, all the Cunina godchildren of Cebu City came together for a creative workshop. We discovered that a lot of children have a talent for art subjects and theater.”

We wanted to use the workshop to stimulate the children to develop these talents. Only then will they be able to have a place in society.

We visited all the schools with Cunina godchildren at the beginning of the school year. Meanwhile, a lot of godchildren are at college or at university. I am incredibly proud to tell you that all the children fully dedicate themselves to their education.

Every second Sunday of the month, we organize a meeting for the parents of the godchildren. The parents have formed a cooperative that makes carpets. Two groups focus on the sewing, while the rest takes care of marketing. They are having difficulty keeping up with all the orders, which proves that people are very interested in their products.

This shows that the impact of Cunina reaches far beyond only helping one child.
