Our godchildren are doing relatively fine.

This is our conclusion after our immersion trip with Cunina to the Philippines. Meanwhile we have four Philippine godchildren: Lemar (19), Bowe Clemar (17) and John (16) who live in the region of Baguio and Jerreve (6) who lives in the mountains of Budla-An in Cebu.

This immersion trip has proven its usefulness once again. Lemar only has one year left before he graduates as a librarian, but he lost his focus a bit. We believe in him and we think that he is back on the right track since our visit. Bowe is doing a great job, he is now studying “Horticulture and Landscaping”. John is, just like every other sixteen year old, obsessed with gaming… Well, after school of course. Jerreve is just like any other child. He is six years old and wants to be a police officer.

Our visit has once again proven the usefulness of the Cunina child sponsorships. The Cunina godchildren have a bright future ahead of them thanks to our support and the support of Cunina and their local co-workers. A good education really is the key to better job opportunities and better prospects in life in the Philippines.

To conclude we would like to stress the importance of a Cunina child sponsorship one more time: you can make a huge difference in the life of your godchild and their family by only contributing €30 a month. A good education is and will always be the key to a better future.
